Ganisha Sethi

Chief Operating Officer

Ganisha graduated from the University of California, Riverside with two Bachelor’s Degrees in English and Spanish Literature and later received her Master’s Degree in Education from Claremont Graduate University. She ended her career as a high school teacher to pursue her passion for the family business. She and her family created a management company in 2009, where she played the role of Director of Human Resources for two years, working directly with all entities and associates to keep Sethi Management organized and running. She earned her CHA certification and has served on various Hilton, IHG, and Choice Hotels owner association boards. Now, as Chief Operating Officer, Ganisha continues to increase efficiency and accountability within the company. Her focus is on creating a company of positive culture and true integrity. With a long-term vision in mind, Ganisha plans to make Sethi Management better, every day.

Gaurav Deep Sethi

Vice President of Development

Gaurav developed a strong business acumen and passion for entrepreneurship as he shadowed his father in the family business at a very young age. Gaurav co-created Sethi Management with his family in 2009. Now as the Vice President of New Acquisitions and Development, Gaurav is responsible for new developments, acquisitions, major capital projects, and property improvement plans. During his tenure at Sethi Management, Gaurav has led projects to open new development hotels, new-build convenience stores, gas stations, and retail locations, and has led numerous complete hotel conversions and improvement plans. Working hand-in-hand with franchises, banking institutes, and local authorities, Gaurav’s deal-making and negotiation skills have allowed the Sethi Family to grow at a steady rate and towards a bright future.

Joanne Jensen

Director of Human Resources

Joanne joined the Sethi team in 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/History from the University of Massachusetts. Prior to joining Sethi Management, she worked in payroll and human resources for over 20 years in manufacturing and property management. While at Sethi Management, Joanne has implemented recruitment and training programs, thorough hiring processes, as well as Sethi’s safety programs. She has automated systems, making payroll and HR processes electronic and user-friendly. Joanne has spearheaded many programs that have increased loyalty and decreased liability in the company, including healthcare, life insurance, and 401k plans for company associates.  Joanne leads by example, never wavers from her dedication and values, and is a true role model for everyone in the company.

Brandon Meyerhoff

Director of Finance

Brandon recently joined the Sethi Family and brings over 20 years of hotel accounting experience to the management team. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics at San Diego State University while working in the Mission Valley area with multiple brands such as Radisson, Hilton and Holiday Inn.  After gaining experience in many different areas of the hotel, Brandon took on a new role within the accounting department for a few years before accepting his first Director of Finance position in the Carlsbad area. Brandon was able to successfully grow his career over the years, while most recently overseeing a large resort with multiple entities. He has a strong analytical background with proven ability to increase overall financial results and remains focused on mentoring his team creating a positive work environment and culture.

Valorie Hayes

Director of Revenue Management

Valorie joined the Sethi Management team in 2008 as Houseman of the Country Inn & Suites in Tucson. She was eager to learn and grow and stepped into the front desk, quickly climbing to an Assistant General Manager position at the same hotel. Not too long later, she was leading this hotel as General Manager, having the hotel’s most successful years occur under her watch. Over time, Valorie became a master at the rate game and was named the company’s Director of Revenue Management in 2017. In less than two months, Valorie had learned six brand systems, bringing Revenue Management for each hotel in-house. She has brought extensive change to the company and continues to broaden rate strategy mindsets across the board.

Patrick Mata

Director of Operations- Hotels

Patrick joined the Sethi Family in 2008 as a night auditor at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Fresno. While working at his hotel, he was eager to master in each position offered, moving his way up from Guest Service Agent, to Front Office Manager position, to General Manager of many hotels within the portfolio. Patrick used his analytical skills to evaluate guest service scores and operational expenses and effectively manage each hotel he was in charge of. Within two years of being a General Manager, Patrick learned and mastered the hospitality basics and taught others along the way. He was able to provide constant growth opportunities to other staff members in his tenure. It is no surprise that in 2018, Patrick had a portfolio of hotels under him, balancing each with grace and effectiveness. Patrick is also a part of the company’s new-build hotel opening team. Patrick is consistent, persistent, and diligent; a true asset to the Sethi Family. He plans to share his focus, knowledge, and drive to pursue Sethi Management’s vision for growth.

Jennifer Viscarra

Director of Operations- Retail

Jennifer joined Sethi Management in 2019 and has a strong background in hospitality. Since 2001, Jennifer had worked with various hotel brands such as Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and Choice Hotels. Beginning as the Guest Service Agent at the Hilton Garden Inn in Gilroy, California, she was quickly promoted to Sales Manager and then General Manager. Jennifer is a quick learner and loves a good challenge! She therefore decided to change career paths, joining Sethi Management in 2019 as a District Manager of the company’s three tanning salons. Having tanned personally for over 17 years, Jennifer was familiar with the products and services offered in the tanning industry. She used her knowledge to improve customer service and overall sales, seeing substantial growth in the salons in less than a year from acquisition! With her eagerness to learn and grow, in 2020, Jennifer was promoted to Director of Operations of Retail, overseeing the entire portfolio of Sethi’s tanning salons and convenience stores. Jennifer strives to grow her margins, her profitability, and her people.
